About this board game

French and Indian War 1757-1759 is a two-player strategic wargame about the conflict in America during the peak war years of 1757 to 1759, with an approximately 120-minute play time.

One player commands the British and its allies, while the other leads the French and its allies. The British player seeks to control enough key locations in New France to win the war, creating a focused struggle over important positions.

The French player must protect New France while pursuing a separate strategy of gaining territory in the American colonies. These opposing objectives give each side a distinct role within the conflict and frame the strategic decisions at the heart of the game.

The 2020 edition includes a hard-mounted game board, custom dice, wooden blocks, marker cubes, and a pad of hidden movement sheets. Player aid cards and two rule books support the game as both sides manage their campaigns across the board.
