Frontier Wars: Expansion France/Japan

About this expansion

Frontier Wars: Expansion France/Japan is an expansion for Frontier Wars that adds the France and Japan factions, supports 2–6 players, and is designed for games lasting about 120 minutes.

This expansion brings two very different factions to the Frontier Wars experience. With France and Japan added, players have new faction options to include in their games.

Frontier Wars: Expansion France/Japan also expands the game beyond its original player count. It allows games with up to six players, making it suitable for larger groups while retaining support for games with two players.

Alongside the new factions, the expansion introduces a new type of tile: double tiles. These tiles add another element to the available game content and distinguish this expansion from the base game.

Additional scenarios are included as well, giving players new scenarios to use with Frontier Wars. Together, the new factions, double tiles, and scenarios provide the central additions in this 2019 expansion.

• Two new factions: France and Japan
• Support for 2–6 players
• Games lasting about 120 minutes
• A new double-tile type
• New additional scenarios

For groups looking to play Frontier Wars with more participants or explore content built around new factions, this expansion offers a focused addition to the game. Its combination of expanded player support and new game elements makes it a notable choice for Frontier Wars players.
