Furnace: Alfred Nobel Promo Card

About this expansion

Furnace: Alfred Nobel Promo Card is a 2021 promotional card for Furnace, a game for 2–4 players with a 60-minute play time. It introduces Alfred Nobel as a new character and adds a distinct option during each Auction Phase.

This card was originally available as part of Pack D from the Dice Tower 2021 Kickstarter campaign. It provides a way to use a disc for an immediate resource gain instead of placing it on a Company card.

Alfred Nobel card effect

Once per Auction Phase, you may place your disc on the Alfred Nobel card rather than on a Company card. You then immediately gain oil according to the value of that disc.

• Use the card once per Auction Phase.
• Place your disc on Alfred Nobel instead of a Company card.
• Gain oil based on the value of your disc.
• Each other player gains the same amount of coal.

The effect links your immediate oil gain to a matching coal gain for every other player. This gives the Alfred Nobel promo card a clear place in the auction, with its benefit and shared outcome defined by the value of the disc you choose.

As a Dice Tower Kickstarter promo, Furnace: Alfred Nobel Promo Card is a specific addition to the game rather than a separate standalone title. Its concise rule makes it easy to identify and apply during the Auction Phase while adding Alfred Nobel to the game’s available characters.
