Galactic Warlords: Battle for Dominion is a card-driven game of tactical deployment and planet control for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes.

After the fall of the powerful Preiakka Federation, its member worlds are weakened by conflict. Warlords and outside factions now move against the fragmented region, each seeking to establish dominion and claim the most points.

As a Warlord, you build your presence by playing hired Mercenary cards from your hand into your tableau. Every Mercenary brings assets and abilities that can help you assert control over the contested planets. Assets include Ground Troops and Defense Systems, while actions include Deploy Ground Troops, Recon, Assassinate, and many others.

• Play Mercenaries into your tableau.
• Use their assets and abilities to influence contested planets.
• Complete Mercenary Missions and pursue additional bonus points.

Careful deployment is central to the struggle. The Mercenaries you choose and the actions you use shape your efforts to control the galactic region, while their Missions provide an important path to scoring at the end of the game.

When the game ends, you score points for completing the Missions of the Mercenaries you played, along with other bonus points. The player with the highest total becomes the Great Warlord and wins Galactic Warlords: Battle for Dominion.

Released in 2018, this tactical contest combines hand management, Mercenary deployment, planet control, and end-game scoring in a battle for dominion over a region left fractured by war.
