Garbage Day: Limited Edition is a 2–5 player card game with an approximately 30-minute play time, built around a sly battle of wits over who has to deal with the trash.

On each turn, players choose between adding a garbage card to the overflowing garbage can or stashing one in their room. Stacking requires care: if garbage cards fall from the can during your turn, they go into your overflow pile.

Rooms are useful places to hide garbage, but they cannot hold everything forever. When a room gets too full, its owner must clean it by placing every card from that room onto the garbage can, one card at a time. That can turn a quiet attempt to avoid responsibility into a precarious cleanup operation.

• Stack garbage cards onto the overflowing garbage can.
• Hide garbage cards in your room until it becomes too full.
• Collect fallen cards in your overflow pile.
• Leave the game if your overflow pile gets too large.

The goal is to avoid being the player who ends up with too much overflow. If every other player has been eliminated, you win—and can claim the satisfaction of surviving garbage day while everyone else handles the mess.
