Gimme That!

About this board game

Gimme That! is a potato-themed party game for 3–8 players that takes about 10 minutes to play. Players race to be the first to write the number 100 while counting potatoes on the sheet in front of them.

There is one important catch: the entire group shares a single pencil for tallying taters. One person begins writing while the other players take turns rolling the die, keeping everyone alert as the pencil and potato-counting sheets move around the circle.

Most die results make the roller lead the group in a goofy gesture. Players may have to perform a “high-fry”, an all-in hand slap; a “mashed potatoes” table drum roll; or a “spud-bump”, a simultaneous fist pound.

• Race to write 100 while counting potatoes.
• Share one pencil with the entire group.
• Perform silly gestures prompted by the die.
• Pass potato-counting papers to the left on one die result.
• Reach for the pencil and call out “Gimme That!” on another.

One die roll causes everyone to pass their papers to the left, so the pencil-marker starts where a neighbor stopped and another player can gain a substantial head start. Another roll lets the roller reach for the pencil and exclaim, “Gimme That!”

With its shared writing tool, changing paper positions, and playful table gestures, Gimme That! turns counting potatoes into a lively race where every roll can change who is closest to 100.
