About this board game

Glory: A Game of Knights is a game for 1–4 players that takes about 120 minutes, placing you in the role of a young knight seeking fame across 15th-century Europe.

Each turn, manage your precious time by choosing actions that shape your path to renown. Train for future challenges, gather allies, pray, sell your sword, fight for ransom, or visit your beloved lady as you prepare for a life of knightly deeds.

The game combines a worker-placement-like preparation phase with a quest phase driven by the quest cards you have gathered. Your preparations support adventures and opportunities, while tournaments provide a central route to victory points.

  • Tournaments: Compete for victory points and pursue the status of a champion.
  • Quests: Build your challenges and opportunities through gathered quest cards.
  • Titles: Seek public and private titles that offer a secondary source of victory points and change from game to game.
  • Duels: Resolve confrontations through a fast mini-game.
  • Two play modes: Choose an experience with or without player-versus-player combat.

Beyond challenging other players, you can test yourself against some of the most famous nobles of Europe. The combination of preparation, quests, tournaments, titles, and duels presents a board game interpretation of a knight’s life.

Designed by two medieval reenactors, Glory: A Game of Knights uses the language of board games to tell a story of ambition and reputation. Whether your fame comes from tournaments, noble titles, or minstrels singing about your deeds, every choice contributes to your quest to become famous.
