Great War Commander: Battle Pack Nr1

About this expansion

Great War Commander: Battle Pack Nr1 is a 2022 scenario pack for two players, with an advertised play time of 180 minutes. It is not a complete game and requires both Great War Commander and Great War Commander: BEF to play.

Focused on the Western Front, this expansion brings German forces into conflicts with US, British, French, Portuguese, Canadian, and Highlander troops. Its 12 scenarios span engagements from September 1914 through October 1918, including the first appearance of Mark I tanks, a Portuguese operation, and an amphibious assault that never took place.

The pack also includes a thrilling Verdun campaign, played through a series of linked battles portraying the April 1916 fights for Mort Homme and Côte 304. Map 23 depicts Hill 60 with an accurate actual trench-map layout, while the scenarios cover both the British attack and the German counterattack there.
