Great Western Trail: At the Poker Table Promo is a 2018 promotional addition for Great Western Trail, supporting 2–4 players and a play time of approximately 150 minutes. It introduces a poker table, bonus markers, and extra local actions while keeping the game’s standard structure.

Set up Great Western Trail as usual, then place the poker table beside the game with room around it. Depending on the number of players, take the indicated bonus markers and stack them in one corner of the table in ascending order, with the 6-point bonus marker on top.

The game is played as normal, with one important addition to the neutral building tiles. When a player stops on tile D or G with their cattleman, they may perform one additional local action provided by that tile.

• Set up the poker table next to the main game.
• Stack the appropriate bonus markers in ascending order.
• Use the extra local action available at neutral tiles D and G.
• Apply the poker table and bonus-marker rules during final scoring.

At the end of the game, cards still next to a player’s poker player are ignored during final scoring. Final scoring otherwise proceeds as usual, with one further addition: in step 8, each player gains the points shown on any bonus marker in front of them.

Great Western Trail: At the Poker Table Promo adds a compact set of rules that affects local actions and end-game points without replacing the main game’s setup or scoring process. It is designed to be used alongside the standard game for an extra poker-table element during the trail.
