About this board game

Halloween II is a 1-versus-many board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Based on Halloween II, it challenges players to work together while Michael secretly stalks them through the darkness.

Most players control characters who must move around the board and accomplish urgent objectives. They may need to find medicine, locate a wheelchair, or complete other objective cards before escaping in a vehicle. Cooperation is essential, but every move carries danger: Michael tracks his movement on a separate board and keeps his location hidden until a character sees him—or he launches an attack.

  • Hidden movement: Michael’s position remains secret until he is revealed by sight or an attack.
  • Team objectives: Players must gather objective cards and escape in a vehicle, or deal enough damage to incapacitate Michael.
  • Character elimination: When a character is killed, the player can respawn with a new character, but loses their items.
  • Two possible paths to victory: The survivors can complete their objectives or fight back, while Myers wins by killing enough characters or delaying the others long enough.

Michael’s player controls the hunt, creating a tense contest between concealed movement and coordinated action. The survivors must keep moving before it is too late, while watching for the moment their unseen pursuer finally appears.

This stand-alone game uses the same core system as Halloween from Trick or Treat Studios, while adding optional rules that allow Michael to harm Laurie. Its map, player powers, and most cards are new, and these elements can be swapped between the two games. Released in 2024, Halloween II offers a cooperative struggle against one hidden opponent.
