About this expansion
Hansa Teutonica: East Expansion is a 2010 expansion for 3–5 players, with games taking about 75 minutes. It adds new ways to play on the basic map and introduces a separate East-Expansion map.
For the basic map, the expansion includes nine mission cards. Each card shows three cities, allowing a player to receive additional victory points for Kontors in those cities. These missions provide an extra objective to consider while playing the original map.
The East-Expansion map adds new items to the game, including ocean trade routes and permanent bonus markers. Together with the mission cards, these additions broaden the Hansa Teutonica experience with new map content and additional scoring possibilities.
- Nine mission cards for the basic map
- Additional victory points for Kontors in the cities shown on a mission
- A new East-Expansion map
- Ocean trade routes and permanent bonus markers
An erratum corrects a reference in the rules to the “Kontor Network” and the East/West connection between Leipzig and Danzig. The map does not include Leipzig; the intended city is Lübeck.
Whether you want additional objectives on the original map or a new setting with distinct map elements, Hansa Teutonica: East Expansion extends the game while remaining focused on its established city and Kontor framework.
