HeroQuest: Mythic

About this expansion

HeroQuest: Mythic is an expansion for 2–5 players with an approximate play time of 90 minutes, included in the 2021 Hasbro crowd-sourced version of HeroQuest. It contains two more exclusive figures and all available unlocks from the Mythic Tier.

This collection adds new characters and familiar threats to the HeroQuest setting. The contents include the Mentor & Wizard Hero Card, a Warlock Hero by Shauna Nakasone, a Druid Hero by Nikki Dawes, and a Bard Hero.

It also provides additional enemies and game equipment, giving the set a broad range of extra components. The included additions are:

• 6 extra Combat Dice
• 2 extra Skeletons, Goblins, Zombies, Orcs, and Mummies
• 2 extra Abominations and 2 extra Dread Warriors
• 1 extra Dread Sorcerer and 1 extra Gargoyle

For new adventures, HeroQuest: Mythic includes the Prophecy of Telor Quest Book by Stephen Baker and The Spirit Queen’s Torment Quest Book by Teos Abadia. These quest books sit alongside a Quest Book by Joe Manganiello, which also includes a Dragon Miniature and game tiles.

The official description notes that the last two stretch goals were not met. Hasbro nevertheless went ahead and included them, making this Mythic Tier expansion a substantial collection of additional heroes, adversaries, dice, quest material, and special components for the 2021 edition.
