HeroQuest: The Frozen Horror is an expansion for the HeroQuest Game System for 1–5 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time. Set in the bleak, frigid Northlands, it challenges the heroes to confront a ferocious creature long banished to an icy tomb.

The Frozen Horror has burst forth from its ancient resting place and returned to its seat of power deep within the ice mountain. Now it is rallying its minions and preparing to cover the Northlands and the Realm in a shroud of deadly ice.

In this adventure, one player takes the role of the powerful Barbarian. Before the other heroes can join the expedition, the Barbarian must survive a series of dangerous solo quests, proving the courage and skill needed to face the growing threat.

• Journey through the bleak and frigid Northlands.
• Begin with solo quests focused on the Barbarian.
• Join forces with fellow heroes to enter the ice mountain.
• Destroy the Scepter of Glacial Majesty and defeat the Frozen Horror.

Once the solo challenges are complete, the Barbarian’s fellow heroes join the struggle and gain access to the ice mountain. Together, they must push toward the monster’s ancient stronghold and stop its plans before the Realm is overwhelmed.
