Heroscape Master Set: Battle for the Underdark

About this board game

Heroscape Master Set: Battle for the Underdark is a two-player board game designed for a 60-minute experience, bringing the HeroScape series into the realm of Dungeons & Dragons.

As the third Master Set in the HeroScape series, this set introduces a dark fantasy conflict beneath the surface of Valhalla. Evil monsters emerge from the darkest corners, spreading terror while they conquer and control mystic portals leading to other worlds.

Sinister drow and brutal trolls gather in underground ruins, while rumors of black dragons threaten to become a terrifying reality. In response, the Valkyrie Generals representing the forces of good summon brave adventurers to undertake a dangerous quest.

The goal is clear: stop the hordes of evil and defeat the black dragons and their wicked allies. Whether the forces of good prevail or perish forms the heart of this dramatic underdark setting.

The set includes a selection of figures and terrain to bring its subterranean battlefields to the table:

• 10 rebased figures from Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures
• 55 HeroScape-style terrain pieces

With its crossover between HeroScape and Dungeons & Dragons, Battle for the Underdark combines an established HeroScape setting with drow, trolls, black dragons, underground ruins, and portals to other worlds. It offers a focused two-player adventure built around the struggle between summoned heroes and the forces of evil.
