Heroscape Expansion Set: Valkrill’s Gambit is a 2009 Small Expansion Set for 2–4 players with a 90-minute play time.

Known as wave 10 in the HeroScape series, Valkrill’s Gambit is notable for being the first expansion to contain repainted figures, repackaged figures, or rereleased figures. This entry is now deprecated because the individual booster packs have their own entries.

The set is divided into four booster packs:

• Champions of Renown Army Expansion: repackaged GenCon and Walmart exclusives.
• Warriors of Feldspar Army Expansion: repaints of Dzu-Teh and Obsidian Guards.
• Soulborgs Army Expansion: Soulborgs, rereleased from a wave 5 booster pack.
• Warriors and Soulborgs Army Expansion: Warriors and Soulborgs, also rereleased from a wave 5 booster pack.

Each booster contains 4–7 figures and no glyphs. The wave 5 rereleases also include terrain pieces, distinguishing them from the other packs in the expansion.
