About this board game
Hetzer Sniper!: Sniper Companion Game #1 is a two-player World War II game of man-to-man combat in Europe, covering battles from 1940 to 1945. It explores the tense cat-and-mouse fighting of the Western Front, where sudden death could be waiting inside a hedgerow, forest, farm, or village.
The game presents scenarios from the German blitz of 1940, the Allied advance up the Italian peninsula, and the brutal fighting in the hedgerow country of northern France. Players command squads from seven nations, with additional options for paratroopers, S.S., and volksgrenadiers.
Armored warfare is a major part of the system. Detailed game statistics cover more than 40 vehicles, including tanks, trucks, halftracks, and armored cars. The result is a complete standalone game focused on the interaction between individual soldiers, squads, and fighting vehicles.
Hetzer Sniper! also includes campaign rules for squads that continue from battle to battle. Casualties carry forward, while surviving soldiers can gain experience through an ongoing series of engagements.
- Scenarios across France, Italy, Belgium, and other European battle settings
- Vehicle statistics for more than 40 tanks and other armored or support vehicles
- Squad selection covering seven nations, paratroopers, S.S., and volksgrenadiers

Designed by Steve Winter, the game is rated medium in complexity and has a listed playing time of up to 480 minutes. The original game system is not required: this is a complete game in its own right.
