About this expansion

HEXplore It: The Sands of Shurax – Return to the Sands of Shurax is an expansion for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 180 minutes. It introduces a villain-versus-heroes mode, new bosses, additional character options, and the Black Pyramid maze.

Take control of the villain, known as the Ravager, and oppose the other heroes. Like the heroes, the Ravager can raise its ranks by completing Ambitions. A dedicated Villain card deck offers different ways to ruin the map, creating varied challenges from one game to the next.

The Ravager can also wield powerful Rituals by spending Ritual Points. The villain must react to the heroes’ actions while forcing them to respond in turn, creating a changing contest in which no two games against the heroes are the same.

Within the Black Pyramid, adventurers can gather power, face new threats, encounter terrifying versions of the bosses, and uncover epic new gear. The maze is filled with traps and secret chambers, making every exploration dangerous.
