Horrified: Greek Monsters is a cooperative game for 1–5 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Players become avatars of the Greek gods and work together to recapture six notorious monsters that have escaped after Pandora’s Box was opened.

Inspired by Greek mythology, the game challenges players to discover where the monsters are hiding before they can be defeated. Four hidden lairs must be uncovered: the Statue Garden, Underworld Door, Chimera’s Cave, and Labyrinth.

Finding a lair comes with a cost. Before a lair token can be flipped to reveal which monster’s hideout has been discovered, players must discard three color items. Every discovery therefore demands careful cooperation and resource decisions.

The escaped creatures include Medusa, Cerberus, Chimera, and Minotaur, while the full game features six monsters in total. Each monster presents a different challenge, requiring players to use their unique powers and figure out how that creature can be defeated.

As more monsters enter the game, the challenge becomes harder. Horrified: Greek Monsters is a standalone game with gameplay similar to 2019’s Horrified, offering a mythological setting built around teamwork, discovery, and escalating danger. Released in 2023, it invites players to combine their powers and attempt to restore order to Greece.
