About this board game
Hunted: Mining Colony 415 is a fast-paced game for 1–2 players that plays in about 30 minutes. After a distress beacon interrupts your journey home, you arrive at a mining colony overrun by unidentified lifeforms.
The crew has been scattered, the colony’s self-destruct protocol is active, and time is running out. Your goal is to reach Landing Pad 7, board your ship, and escape before the entire facility explodes—all while being hunted by aliens.
Every card is multi-use, creating constant pressure over how to spend your limited options. You must make quick decisions about which cards to discard and which to activate, balancing the need to run, fight, and hide as you search for a way off the planet.
- Tense survival choices: Decide whether your next move should prioritize movement, combat, or concealment.
- Multi-use cards: Each card can serve different purposes, forcing difficult decisions throughout the game.
- Dexterity-based resolution: Events and combat use a dexterity mechanic to determine their outcomes.
- Second-edition updates: Revised systems handle events and taking damage, while a non-dexterity option is available for combat and tests.
The second edition of Hunted: Mining Colony 415 offers a choice between physical dexterity challenges and an alternative way to resolve combat and tests. It also comes in a distinctive VHS case, matching the game’s retro sci-fi presentation.
With its urgent escape scenario, alien pursuit, and constantly shifting card decisions, Hunted: Mining Colony 415 turns a race to safety into a compact test of judgment under pressure.
