Joyride: High Seas

About this expansion

Joyride: High Seas is a 2024 expansion for 2–4 players, bringing pirate-themed mischief to the track in games lasting about 60 minutes.

Be a menace with the Pirate Van, which lets you steal items from other racers before fleeing the scene at speed. This combination of theft and escape adds a disruptive edge to the race, giving players a way to interfere with their opponents while keeping the action moving.

The expansion also introduces tools for changing the positions and momentum of cars around the track. Use the Harpoon to reposition other cars from a distance, or drop the Anchor when you need a high-stakes emergency brake.

• Pirate Van: Steal items from other racers and speed away.
• Harpoon: Reposition other cars at a distance.
• Anchor: Make an emergency brake when the stakes are high.
• Boost strips: Place them around the track to give racers a surge of speed.

Boost strips create another unpredictable element. Once placed around the track, they give racers a burst of speed whether those racers want it or not, making their position on the course even more consequential.

With its focus on stealing, forced movement, emergency braking, and unexpected acceleration, Joyride: High Seas gives the race a distinctly unruly character. It is designed for 2–4 players and offers a 60-minute addition to the Joyride experience.
