About this expansion

Keyflower: Boat 7 is a village tile for Keyflower, a game for 2–6 players with an approximately 120-minute play time. Released in 2018, this tile was published exclusively through the BoardGameGeek store in Q2 2018.

Boat 7 introduces two rules that affect how its owner handles incoming resources, animals, and seasonal supplies. Its first rule, Boat 7a, allows the player to place certain resources or animals on any tile in their village, rather than limiting their placement to a particular location.

  • When obtaining resources or animals (KFF) from another player’s village, the player may place them on any tile in their village.
  • At the end of a season, resources or animals from a turn order tile (KFF) or a boat (KFM) may also be placed on any tile in the player’s village.
  • Resources or animals obtained from a contract (KFM) likewise benefit from this placement rule.
  • At the end of summer, autumn, and winter, the owner receives one iron, one stone, and one wood from the general supply onto their home tile.

Boat 7b provides a fixed seasonal delivery to the owner’s home tile. The delivery occurs at the end of summer, autumn, and winter, and always consists of one iron, one stone, and one wood.

As a village tile, Keyflower: Boat 7 combines broader placement for specified incoming resources and animals with a repeated end-of-season supply. Its rules cover rewards received from other players’ villages, turn order tiles, boats, and contracts, while its seasonal benefit comes directly from the general supply.
