La Famiglia: The Great Mafia War is a team-based strategy game for exactly four players, played in two teams of two, with games lasting around 180 minutes. Set in 1980s Sicily, it recreates the merciless struggle remembered as the Great Mafia War.

Each team fights to take control of Sicily while different mob families compete, cooperate, and clash for supremacy in southern Italy. Six mafia families are available, and each brings special abilities that shape how the game unfolds.

Every round is divided into two distinct phases. During the planning phase, players develop their abilities and bring fighters and secret orders onto the board. This is the time to coordinate with your teammate, prepare your position, and decide how to challenge rival families.

In the combat phase, the secret orders are revealed and executed. Fighters and bombs are used to dominate as many regions as possible, while the combat system creates an exciting psychological duel in every confrontation.
