Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – Meditations on the Ephemeral is a two-player card game expansion with an approximately 90-minute play time. Released in 2017, it is the sixth Dynasty Pack in the Imperial Cycle, created to expand collections for Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game.

Each of the seven Great Clans receives new cards in this pack. These additions continue to embrace and define the themes established in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game, giving every Great Clan new material within the ongoing Imperial Cycle.

Meditations on the Ephemeral also focuses on Otosan Uchi, the Imperial City. Its cards draw attention to the people and service connected with the Emperor, including neutral samurai sworn to the Imperial family and Imperial magistrates representing each of the Great Clans.
