About this board game

M.O.R.P.H.O. is a compact social deduction card game for 3–9 players, played in around 30 minutes. Set in a futuristic rebellion against an oppressive Empire, it challenges players to navigate secret loyalties, hidden agendas, and shifting goals.

The Empire clings to order and tradition while the insurgent faction Morpho prepares its final daring strike: The X-Day. Yet not every fighter wants the same outcome, and your true mission may remain hidden even from yourself.

Each player manages two hidden identity cards, or one identity in larger groups. Every identity has its own win condition and agenda, creating a tense battle in which appearances can be misleading and alliances may be difficult to trust.

  • Investigate other players to uncover clues about their loyalties.
  • Reveal or change roles as the situation develops.
  • Manipulate timing to fulfill your personal victory conditions.
  • Add special hidden roles such as Outsiders and Aliens for more variety and intrigue.

In M.O.R.P.H.O., information is valuable, but acting on it can expose your own intentions. Decide what to reveal, what to conceal, and when to shift your identity as the conflict approaches its decisive moment.

With its compact format and emphasis on deception, M.O.R.P.H.O. brings a focused social deduction experience to groups looking for a futuristic struggle over loyalty, rebellion, and personal objectives.
