About this board game

Manimals is a fast-paced animal-spotting game for 2–6 players, with each game taking about 20 minutes. Players race to find as many animals as possible that share a particular characteristic.

To begin, shuffle the animal cards and spread 40 of them on the table where everyone can see them. Reveal one card to identify the characteristic for the round, then everyone simultaneously searches the layout and picks up all the animals they believe match it.

The challenge is not just speed: players must also make accurate choices. Once everyone has finished collecting, the cards are checked. If a player has taken an incorrect animal, they must return that card along with one correctly collected card.

The game continues for six more rounds. Before each new round, place three additional cards from the deck on the table, then reveal a card to establish the next characteristic. After the final round, players count their collected cards, and the player with the most wins.
