Marvel United: Rise of the Black Panther is a 2021 board game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting about 45 minutes. It places you at the center of a fierce struggle for the throne of Wakanda, a kingdom known for its technological supremacy and widespread prosperity.

Erik Killmonger has sworn vengeance against the Wakandan king’s bloodline, and his target is T’Challa, the current Black Panther. Killmonger’s ambition goes beyond eliminating the Black Panther and his allies: he intends to seize Wakanda for himself.

To achieve that goal, Killmonger is working to radicalize the population against its king. He is also smuggling weapons and mercenaries into the country, preparing for a vast uprising that could place him on the throne.

The defense of Wakanda rests with a formidable trio of allies:

• Black Panther, the current king and target of Killmonger’s vengeance
• Princess Shuri, whose weapons and gadgets can turn the tide of battle
• The Winter Soldier, an expert in fighting a subversive campaign

Together, they face a threat that challenges both the kingdom’s security and the legitimacy of its ruler. Even these skilled heroes may struggle to stop Killmonger’s master plan as the conflict spreads through Wakanda.

With its focus on royal succession, political unrest, hidden weapons, and an approaching uprising, Marvel United: Rise of the Black Panther offers a dramatic Marvel conflict centered on the fate of Wakanda. Only the most skilled and daring defenders can rise to protect the throne.
