Marvel United: Promo Team Decks

About this expansion

Marvel United: Promo Team Decks is a set of 15 Team decks for 1–5 players, adding 92 cards and new shared options to your Marvel United games. Each deck represents a different Marvel team and offers an alternative way for Heroes to contribute to the Storyline.

When using a Team Deck, all Heroes in play must belong to the same Team, and the Hard Challenge difficulty level is used. Shuffle the chosen deck and reveal two cards to create the Team Display, replacing each selected card immediately until the deck runs out.

On a Hero’s turn, players can follow the regular procedure or take a Team turn. A Team turn means leaving the Hero cards untouched and choosing a card from the Team Display to play in the Storyline as though it were that Hero’s own card. Team cards feature Action symbols and a Special Effect, providing more choices while changing the feel of the match.

Team play also brings a shared risk. Most decks include at least one card with a mandatory negative effect that remains active while it is faceup in the Team Display. To shut it down, a Hero must take a Team turn and play that card facedown in the Storyline.

All Teams require Heroes from exclusive expansions or Stretch Goals from previous campaigns, though many also include members from boxes available at retail. Marvel United: Promo Team Decks was released in 2024.
