Mediterráneo

About this board game

Mediterráneo is an abstract card game for two players, played in around 30 minutes, in which you undertake an underwater expedition through the Mediterranean.

Before the dive begins, each player receives objectives involving the locations of different animals. Some creatures must be found, while other areas should be avoided. Players then build a shared sea from the game’s 18 cards, revealing or hiding marine creatures as the expedition develops.

Each type of sea creature scores in its own way, so the common layout becomes the focus of a race to complete your objectives. Watch the sea take shape, pursue the areas you need, and try to avoid the locations that work against your plans.

• Players: 2

Every round is won by the first player to reach 10 points. With objectives directing each expedition and creatures scoring differently, the shared card sea creates an abstract challenge centered on observation, positioning, and timing.
