Merlin: Knights of the Round Table is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 75 minutes. Released in 2019, it challenges each player to seek the position of King Arthur’s successor with help from the realm’s most famous knights.

The game features twelve knights, and every knight has a unique ability. These abilities provide each player with different ways to gain an advantage over their rivals, making the choice of assistance an important part of the quest.

At the start of the game, each player receives two knights who will assist them. The knights can be assigned in either of two ways:

• Receive them randomly for a more unpredictable beginning.
• Draft them for greater strategic control over the knights available to you.

Whatever method is used, the abilities of the selected knights must be used wisely. Choosing or receiving a helpful combination can shape how you approach the contest and how effectively you seek an advantage over the other players.

With its cast of twelve distinct knights and a choice between random assignment and drafting, Merlin: Knights of the Round Table gives players a clear strategic decision before their quest unfolds.
