About this expansion

Mr. Jack: Extension is a two-player deduction game expansion with approximately 30 minutes of play, set during the hunt for Jack in Whitechapel, London, in October 1888.

Scotland Yard has assigned Inspector Abberline to lead the investigation, supported by five unusual new detectives. Among them is Professor Moriarty, an enigmatic character who can imitate a detective who is not at stake. By mimicking that character’s appearance and using their ability, Moriarty can confuse the investigation, challenge Sherlock Holmes, or perhaps conceal Jack himself.

This expansion introduces six new characters and brings fresh strategic possibilities to the pursuit. The new recruits include:

• Madame, whose presence adds another intriguing option to the investigation.
• Pizer, a terrifying figure to avoid.
• Joseph Lane, whose barricade can affect movement through London’s streets.
• Inspector Abberline, who probes the case with searching questions.
• The Spring-Heeled Man, who bounds along the streets.
• Professor Moriarty, the master of imitation.

At the beginning of the game, players draft which eight characters will be used and determine their starting locations. This choice creates new combinations and adds depth to every investigation, whether you are trying to expose Jack or protect his identity.

With refreshed artwork celebrating the game’s tenth anniversary and abilities that reshape the familiar hunt, Mr. Jack: Extension offers new ways to outwit an opponent. Master every character, read the clues, and continue the unrelenting manhunt through the back-streets of the East End.
