About this board game

Mystery Express is a deduction board game for 3–5 players that takes about 90 minutes to play. A murder occurs aboard the famous Orient Express in Paris, and the journey to Istanbul becomes a race to uncover the exact circumstances of the crime.

As the train travels through Strasbourg, Munich, Vienna, Budapest, and finally Istanbul, players investigate five essential elements of the mystery: who committed the murder, what happened, when it occurred, where it took place, and why.

The game focuses on the analytical side of the whodunit genre. Players apply their own powers of deduction while gathering information from other passengers and the conductor in the train cars. Investigative actions provide further opportunities to assess the available information and narrow down the possibilities.
