Mythwind: Expanded Horizons is a 2023 board game expansion for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 999 minutes. It adds a fifth-player option to Mythwind through the new Innkeeper character.
The Innkeeper focuses on bringing many patrons to her establishment to feed and entertain them day after day. This new character comes with new adventures and goals to work through, along with a unique story that reveals some history of the valley.
The expansion’s story is seamlessly integrated with the event deck, adding 26 event cards to the game. Five new buildings can also be constructed, providing a new type of action to benefit players as they expand their town.
Expanded Horizons includes a substantial collection of cards, dice, tokens, coins, and storage components:
- 26 Event Cards
- 25 Adventure Cards and 8 Goal Cards
- 5 Building Cards
- 2 Worker Dice and 2 Sprite Dice
- 50 Additional Coins
- Hermit and Moses Tokens
- Innkeeper Storage Tray and Updated Base Tray
