About this board game

Nassau is a pirate adventure board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Released in 2024, it is the seventh title in the Stefan Feld City Collection series.

Across four seasons, each pirate crew works to earn the most points. Every season is divided into two phases, giving players time to prepare their ship before testing it on the open seas.

During the first phase, place pirates throughout the city of Nassau using a clever placement mechanism. Collect the resources and equipment needed to strengthen your ship and prepare for future adventures, while making tactical decisions about where your crew should go.

• Gather weapons, pirate pets, coins, rum, sails, and other useful items.
• Manage your crew, canons, ammunition, and provisions.
• Use pirate pets to activate special powers that can change the course of a battle.

In the second phase, set sail and face a variety of adventures. Each action costs a provision, while your destination and chosen activities determine the weapons, canons, and ammunition you need. Weapons and canons must each be manned by a pirate, so maintaining the right balance between equipment and crew is essential.

Conquer outposts, fight sea monsters, and plunder valuable goods before returning to your home base. Your adventures are not complete until you share tales of what happened at sea: the better the tale, the more points you can earn.

With its combination of city placement, resource gathering, crew management, and nautical challenges, Nassau invites players to build a capable pirate crew and create the most impressive story of the season.
