Nature: Arctic Tundra is a 1–4 player module for the core game Nature, transforming the experience into a demanding survival game set at the edge of the livable world.

This frozen, windy, and barren environment is shaped by permanent frost. Trees cannot take root, while mosses, lichens, and small shrubs cling to survival beneath relentless winds. Across the desolate tundra, Arctic wolves follow migrating caribou, adding to the atmosphere of a land defined by isolation and endurance.

Arctic Tundra introduces new elements that make survival the central challenge. A frozen watering hole changes the landscape, while a deck of five traits expands the possibilities available in the game. A Cold die determines the harshness of the coming winter, bringing the environment’s bitter conditions directly into play.

The Nature game system lets players combine modules to tailor each experience. Add Arctic Tundra for life in an unforgiving polar environment, choose Flight for a game focused on avoiding conflict, or use Jurassic for a more aggressive experience. With six modules and four mini-modules, the system offers more than 700 unique ecosystems to explore.

Nature: Arctic Tundra is part of a living game system that NorthStar Studio plans to expand with the Climate module in 2026, followed by one to two new modules each year for the next decade. Players can also learn Nature through an interactive tutorial in the free-to-try Nature Digital app for iOS, Android, and Steam.
