Nature: Jurassic

About this expansion

Nature: Jurassic is a module for the Nature game system for 1–4 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes. It transforms the experience by raising the stakes of survival and giving players the chance to become truly enormous.

In the Jurassic era, size is power. Ferocious predators and colossal dinosaurs battle for dominance, while smaller and more vulnerable creatures can flourish in hidden crevices, overlooked by the mighty. This module is designed for players who enjoy feeling invincible and want a more aggressive game.

Jurassic adds a separate deck to the core game, introducing five new traits that support its distinct prehistoric theme. It also includes a Thagomizer die and Jurassic size dials, increasing the maximum body size from 4 to 10.

Nature is built as a modular game system, allowing groups to tailor each session to the experience they prefer. Add Jurassic for a more aggressive game, choose Flight for an experience focused on avoiding conflict, or use Arctic Tundra for a challenging struggle for survival at the edge of the habitable world.

With six modules and four mini-modules, the system offers more than 700 unique ecosystems to explore. Nature Digital also provides an interactive tutorial through the free-to-try app for iOS, Android, and Steam.

Nature: Jurassic is part of a living game system, with the Climate module planned for 2026 and one to two new modules expected each year for the following decade.
