Nights of Fire: Battle for Budapest is a 1–3-player wargame for a 90-minute experience of desperate resistance during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

As the second game in a duology, it follows the Hungarian success of the first chapter. Now, the Red Army has reached the edge of Budapest and begins pushing into the capital, driven by retribution, destruction, and the determination to regain control.

Players leading the Hungarian defense face a hopeless war of survival. There is no time left for organizing or sedition; the challenge is to keep the revolution alive for as long as possible while confronting the relentless advance of the Soviet military machine.

The game combines the card and action management mechanisms associated with modern euro games with the theme and atmosphere of a classic block wargame. This blend creates a focused strategic experience in which every decision takes place under intense pressure.
