Norman Conquests: Men of Iron Volume V is a two-player historical battle game with a playing time of about 240 minutes, covering seven conflicts from 1053 to 1265.

Follow the rise and expansion of the Normans, originally Viking raiders who settled in northern France before becoming dukes, kings, princes, Crusaders, and conquerors. The battles range from southern Italy and Sicily to Normandy and England, exploring struggles for thrones, territorial legacies, and baronial rights.

The volume includes the three major battles connected with the English succession crisis of 1066. Norwegian forces meet the English levy at Fulford, King Harold II catches the invaders at Stamford Bridge, and William, Duke of Normandy, faces Harold at Hastings. The campaign history then moves to a dynastic conflict between William I’s sons and the later Baron’s War.
