Nucleum: Nucleum Half Tiles Promo

About this expansion

Nucleum: Nucleum Half Tiles Promo is a promotional module for 1–4 players, designed for the base game of Nucleum and played within its approximately 150-minute experience. Released in 2023, it adds Contract spaces, an Offer tile, and Action Fragment tiles to the game.

During setup, place the Offer tile above the board and put the five Action Fragment tiles on it. Deal one Contract Space tile to each player. The promo includes four Contract Space tiles, five Action Fragment tiles, and one Offer tile.

While performing the Contract action, you may place the newly gained Contract on your Contract Space tile. Doing so immediately lets you take one Action Fragment tile from the offer. You may have only one Action Fragment tile at a time. If you gain another while already holding one, exchange your current tile for the new one by returning the old tile to the offer. This exchange rule also applies when taking a contract with a double reward.

• Place an Action Fragment tile over one action on an Action tile before performing any of its actions.
• Perform all actions that remain visible.
• After use, return the Action Fragment tile to the offer.

When an Action tile is placed on the board and the covered action was not adjacent to another tile or a city, leave the Action Fragment tile on the map. It remains yours and counts toward the one-tile limit until another tile is placed adjacent to it. At that point, discard it after use if it is triggered.

Nucleum: Nucleum Half Tiles Promo introduces a compact set of additional components and timing decisions while preserving the requirement to play with the Nucleum base game.
