About this board game

Nuevos Mundos is a 2020 board game for 1–4 players that takes about 20 minutes, casting each player as a planetary architect creating a new home for humanity.

Ancient Earth has been condemned by humanity’s mistakes, and the future depends on the worlds you build. With an elegant concept and accessible rules, the game challenges you to make meaningful decisions from a small set of possible actions.

On your turn, choose one action for a card. You may use it to collect all cards belonging to the same ecosystem, gather cards according to the numbers shown on the played card, or place the card directly into your own game area. Each choice helps shape the resources and elements of your developing world.

The shared universe board continues to fill with cards as players develop their worlds. When it can no longer be filled, the game ends and each player’s creation is scored.

Scoring represents the harmony between ecosystems, animals, plants, and the conditions required for life. A well-balanced world is rewarded, while elements that do not fit the necessary equilibrium are penalized. In Nuevos Mundos, simple actions create a thoughtful challenge: every card can help build a thriving home, but only careful balance leads to the best result.
