About this board game
Ogre Miniatures is a tabletop game for 2–8 players, with an average play time of 120 minutes, that adapts the hex-and-counter mechanics of OGRE and G.E.V. for use with miniatures on a hexless tabletop.
Rather than requiring a traditional hex map, this edition provides rules specifically designed for OGRE and G.E.V. miniatures. It offers a way to bring those miniature forces to the tabletop while retaining a connection to the mechanics of the original games.
The game was originally released in 1992. A new hard-copy Second Edition was launched through Kickstarter in Fall 2018, replacing the earlier 1992 hard-copy edition.
- Designed for 2–8 players

Ogre Miniatures is additionally available as part of the complete OGRE Battle Box from 2018, which includes miniatures. With its dedicated tabletop rules and support across multiple editions and supplements, it provides a miniature-focused presentation of the OGRE and G.E.V. game system.
