About this expansion

Ogre: Scenario Book 1 is a scenario expansion for 2–3 players, listed with a 1-minute play time. It adds seven complete scenarios to Ogre and G.E.V., using only the basic map from either game or from Deluxe Ogre.

Designed for both the original board game and miniatures, this collection brings together scenarios submitted to the Steve Jackson Games/Wounds Unlimited Ogre Scenario Design Contest. Each entry presents a different battlefield situation and objective.

• Hammer and Anvil: An Ogre stumbles into a trap—can the trap survive?
• The Black Knight: A demented Ogre holds a pass against all forces.
• DreadEx: A package must race through a wall of armor to headquarters, carried by an Ogre.
• Kill the Ogre: An Ogre is assembled on the battlefield while opponents try to destroy it before it powers up.
• Run for the Border: An Ogre attempts to defect to the other side.
• Spoiling Attack: An armor force launches a pre-emptive strike against a hiding Ogre.
• The Thin Line: Two forces clash while each hopes to hold on until reinforcements arrive.

With its varied objectives and compact format, Ogre: Scenario Book 1 offers more ways to play using material from the core Ogre and G.E.V. games. It is part of a scenario book series: Scenario Book 2 contains fourteen scenarios, while Scenario Book 3 contains nine, and both are available only as PDFs.
