About this expansion
Order of the Stick Adventure Game: The Shortening is an expansion for 2–6 players that lets you play the popular OOTS board game in 120 minutes.
Based on the popular Order of the Stick webcomic, The Shortening is designed to deliver the adventure in just two hours. It expands Order of the Stick Adventure Game: The Dungeon of Dorukan, bringing additional content and a faster way to enjoy the game.
The expansion adds several new elements to the OOTS board game experience:
- New monsters
- New shticks
- New backstories
- A certain lich who will not simply sit around and wait for you to reach the bottom of the dungeon
That restless lich gives the adventure a distinctive sense of urgency, while the new monsters, shticks, and backstories add more variety to the journey. The result is an OOTS adventure shaped for more fun in half the time.
Whether you are returning to the Dungeon of Dorukan or discovering this comic-based board game for the first time, The Shortening provides a compact two-hour expansion experience for groups of two to six players. It brings together the humor and setting of the popular webcomic with a selection of new material for the existing game.
