Panzer: Game Expansion Set, Nr 3 – Drive to the Rhine: The Second Front 1944-45 is a 2014 expansion for 2–4 players, covering US, British, and German forces from the Normandy campaign through the end of World War II.

Designed for use with the Panzer base game, this set adds the major formations and vehicles that fought across Western Europe and Italy. It includes 10 scenarios, unit summaries, special-unit rules, and a Table of Organization and Equipment booklet covering the period from 1944 through 1945.

The German forces include formations and vehicles such as Panzer Lehr, the 101st SS Heavy Tank Battalion, Elefant, Jagdtiger, Jagdpanther, Tiger II, Panther, and numerous tank destroyers, assault guns, armored cars, artillery pieces, and transport vehicles. US additions include the M26 Pershing, M18 and M36 GMCs, multiple Sherman variants, airborne and support equipment, and P-38L and P-47D fliers. British forces feature the Comet, Churchill variants, Challenger, Sherman Firefly, Archer, Achilles, Cromwell, and Typhoon and Mosquito fliers.

Expanded rules also address morale vehicle bailouts, road and path movement, reconnaissance capabilities, removing spot counters, and staggered initiative. The four new mapboards portray the close confines of French bocage and terrain encountered during the Allied advance into Germany.

Expansions 1 and 2 are not required to field the German units in this set, while all three expansions can be combined for customized scenarios on the Western or Eastern Front. Drive to the Rhine gives Panzer a broad selection of late-war forces and terrain for new battle combinations.
