About this board game

Penguin Kaboom is a fast-paced cooperative dice game for 2–6 players, with play sessions lasting about 30 minutes. Players become an elite, slightly clumsy squad of penguins working to defuse bombs across the icy city of Penguinvania.

Every mission brings a unique scenario, setup, and difficulty as the team races to stop the villainous Orca Bomber. With 15 replayable missions and three difficulty levels, the game offers a range of challenges for groups ready to test their teamwork under pressure.

Roll, assign, and defuse

On your turn, take all available dice, along with any previously assigned dice you choose to re-roll. Each hammer result becomes locked in the recharge zone, while the remaining dice can be assigned to defuse bombs by matching their icons with those shown on the bombs and alerts.

The action keeps moving quickly: whenever you assign at least one die, you may roll the remaining available dice again. This creates tense decisions as you balance useful results, locked hammers, and the need to complete the current objectives.
