About this expansion

Pharaon: Conflits is an expansion for Pharaon for 1–5 players, adding conflicts, new rewards, and fresh components to the busy lives of the Pharaoh’s children.

Conflict tiles are placed on several spaces of the Wheel of Actions. These tiles substantially increase the Action Cost for their corresponding areas, making certain actions more expensive to perform.

Paying these increased costs is not without reward. Players who resolve conflicts gain Sword tokens, which provide access to new Bonus Actions associated with the different areas of the wheel. This creates additional possibilities as players manage the changing costs and benefits of their actions.

• Conflict tiles: Increase the Action Cost in several areas of the Wheel of Actions.
• Sword tokens: Earned by paying conflict costs and used to access new Bonus Actions.
• New Nobles and Artisans: Add further content to the game.
• Alternative Pharaoh tokens: Provide additional token options.

Solving conflicts can prove expensive, but the Sword tokens gained in return can be highly rewarding. The expansion therefore adds another layer to the decisions surrounding the Wheel of Actions without replacing its central role.

With its combination of conflict tiles, Bonus Actions, new Nobles, Artisans, and alternative Pharaoh tokens, Pharaon: Conflits enriches the original game with additional ways to approach its action areas.
