About this board game

Pintó is a drawing-and-guessing game for 4–8 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Released in 2025, it invites everyone to take on the roles of both artist and interpreter.

As an artist, you will draw an original work for the other players to interpret. The challenge is to find the right balance: your drawing should not be so obvious that everyone guesses it, but it must remain understandable enough for at least one person to identify.

At the same time, you will study the works created by the other artists and try to guess what they represent. Every drawing becomes an opportunity to interpret, discuss, and enjoy the unexpected ideas that emerge around the table.

The heart of Pintó lies in this tension between clarity and mystery. Drawings need to communicate, but complete transparency is not the goal. A successful artist gives the group something to puzzle over while still leaving a path toward the correct answer.

• Create: Draw an original work for the other players.
• Balance: Make it challenging, while ensuring at least one person can guess it.
• Interpret: Guess the works made by the other artists.
• Score: Seek the most points and aim to become the Breakthrough Artist.
