Pitch Out

About this board game

Pitch Out is a two-player disk-flicking game designed for a 10-minute tactical duel. Players place pieces, position walls, and flick disks as they try to take out or isolate the opposing leader.

Each player begins with a set of disks and access to five walls; base sets include 5–8 disks. On a turn, players place their pieces and two walls on their side of the field. Once the setup is complete, they flick one disk per turn, aiming to push opposing disks out of the playing area.

Positioning is only part of the challenge. Every disk has a special power, giving the pieces distinct tactical possibilities and making each flick matter. The Assassin, for example, only needs to touch an opponent’s piece to take it out.

Use walls and piece placement to shape the action on your side of the field, then look for the right flick to disrupt the opponent’s formation. Special abilities reward tactical play rather than relying on movement alone.

In Pitch Out, victory comes as soon as one player takes out the opponent’s leader or eliminates all of their other pieces. With its compact component set and short playing time, the game focuses every turn on positioning, precision, and the pursuit of a decisive shot.
