Posthuman Saga is a standalone survival game for 1–4 players, with an average play time of 120 minutes. Set in a near-future Europe devastated by political collapse, class war, and genetic modification, it casts you as a seasoned member of the Fortress militia.

Sent beyond the defensive perimeter, you must explore the crumbled landscape, search for scavengable sites, and hopefully reconnect with outposts that the Fortress has lost touch with. Resources are scarce, while mutants roam ruined mansions, forests, and other remnants of the fallen world.

This is a sandbox-style survival journey in which players win by completing objectives suited to different characters and play styles. Tactical decisions matter on two connected levels:

• Journey planning: build and navigate an innovative modular tile map puzzle as you cross the devastated land.
• Encounters: resolve individual stories and combats through fast, card-based confrontations filled with difficult choices.

With more than one hundred story scenes, the game creates an emergent narrative through exploration and consequence. A simple push-your-luck mechanism supplements these scenes, asking you to weigh immediate opportunities against what might happen later.

Mutation is an unavoidable part of life in this setting. It may offer advantages, but it can also spiral out of control, adding another layer of risk to every expedition. Released in 2019, Posthuman Saga combines exploration, tactical choices, survival pressure, and branching story moments in a journey beyond the Fortress.
