About this board game
Processing: A Game of Serving Humanity is a 2019 board game for 3–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. In this darkly comic game of terrible democracy, aliens have conquered Earth, and the surviving humans have been enslaved to serve their new overlords.
Your task is to determine who will be Processed, who will be Probed, and who will be Freed. The situation becomes even stranger because the Confederated Alien Overlords believe that cows are people too.
The aliens do not share a single agenda. Each one wants something different, so appeasing them all is a difficult challenge. Across the course of the game, you work to respond to those competing demands while pursuing the highest possible score.
- Players: 3–6
- Play time: approximately 30 minutes
- Game length: three rounds
- Objective: finish with the most victory points
Victory points are earned by appealing to different alien agendas during each round. The choices surrounding humanity’s fate are therefore tied directly to the shifting demands of the alien rulers, creating the game’s distinctive blend of oppressive science fiction and absurd humor.
Processing: A Game of Serving Humanity presents a compact contest built around alien priorities, human survival, and an unsettling question: how can you serve beings whose wishes conflict with one another? For groups of three to six, it offers a short game with a memorable premise and a clear goal—appease the Confederated Alien Overlords and claim the most victory points.
