About this board game

Questline is a fast-playing, simultaneous-play card game for 1–6 players that challenges you to build a compelling seven-card hero’s story in about 15 minutes.

At the Embermoot in the hamlet of Jorekburg, hopeful adventurers compete to prove their storytelling skills. Refine your hand in secret as you search for compatible numbered cards, then arrange them into an ascending sequence that tells your quest without numerical gaps.

Every card depicts an event paired with icons and effects that can work together. Optimize your sequence to earn as many reputation stars as possible, but keep moving—the first players to complete their questlines can claim the most valuable epilogue cards.

• Draw, discard, and swap cards simultaneously in real time.
• Use face-up discards to reveal cards your neighbors may want.
• Take new cards from face-down decks, discard piles, or your neighbors’ discards.
• Finish your questline, remove your unwanted discards from play, and claim an epilogue.

Speed matters, but rushing can leave your tale full of plot holes. Once everyone is finished, players display their questlines, recount their heroes’ journeys, and tally their stars. The player with the most reputation stars becomes the legendary storyteller and wins.

Set in the World of Ulos, the shared fantasy universe first introduced in Roll Player, Questline offers a standalone experience with no knowledge of other World of Ulos games required. Familiar faces may still appear around the bonfire.
